I am Seasoned performer and instructor offering various levels of guidance, from beginning fundamentals to advanced coaching. Over 30 years of performance and teaching experience with an MA in Music Theory and Composition. An MBA from the University of Denver provides skill sets to maximize student coaching and development. With prominent instructors and professors as past teachers, students learn various techniques and styles.

Teaching experience ranges from college level Music Theory to basic musical knowledge and appreciation. I work with students on reading music and ear training, in tandem. I use a balance of fun and work to keep them engaged, focussing on a combination of fundamental technique, learning by ear and reading music. I do use some Tab and diagrams to supplement traditional notation to help students get the "picture" of the notes.
