Review of Sharon Moore, October 27, 2011
Whether you have never danced ever in your life or you've been dancing for years, Sharon will teach you how to not only put movement in your body but movement with purpose. Many teachers can show you how to dance but Sharon takes it to the next level and brings out the beauty in the movement and within you. The learning atmosphere is so positive, open, and she makes each class fun and inspiring! When I was a beginner, I felt like it was such an amazing place to grow in my dance. Now that I'm a seasoned dancer and performer, continuing to take Sharon's classes really keeps the movements beautiful in my body, as well as helps me add it to my personal dance vocabulary. Her classes are perfect for any woman of any age, size, skill level and will bring out the gorgeous dancer in you as it has for me ^_^

I'm finding Shay's class remarkable in the sense that I don't feel scared or dumb...even though I'm really new at this tribal thing. The class is challenging, but she presents the curriculum in such a way that I don't feel nervous or overwhelmed. She is so comfortable in the teaching role that she helps me to be comfortable as her student, and in fact, I feel excited about learning whatever she wants to teach. Beyond dance, she's actually teaching dance theory, and I feel myself getting grounded in the movements and vocabulary as time goes on. Highly recommended, no matter what your experience level!
- Pros:
- Helpful, Engaging, Encouraging, Smart, Patient, Funny, Fun, Good communicator

I love this class. Belly dance has been great for my body and mind and the challenge of learning completely new movements coupled with the positive energy and Sharon's sense of humor keep me coming back time and again. Plus, the community rocks. It's hard to find a more welcoming, warm group of women in Seattle.

Review of Tribal Bellydance: Thursdays Mixed Level, October 10, 2011
I was hesitate to join the class because I have never danced before. I'm self conscious about my dancing skills but by the end of the first class I had no reservations. Shay was encouraging and patient with me and all the other students. I felt like we had the perfect time to spend on each movement we learned. By the end of the course I felt more confident in my ability to dance. Also, my career is high stress and coming to this class after work was a breath of fresh air. It was nice to put my worries from the day away and focus on myself and be around friends. I would strongly recommend taking this class!

I can't say enough good things about Shay's classes! It's rare to find a teacher with such a profound gift for teaching, educating, and community-building! Her classes are fun, challenging for all levels of dancer, and a true safe space where all students can find the help and support they need to become a better dancer. I always leave feeling energized and excited--these classes can turn my day from blah to wow, and I learn how to be a better dancer!
And the best part? Your first class is free! Don't wait--if you have a long-standing passion for bellydance and want to try a new instructor, or if you just want to have fun and get in shape, give Shay's classes a try! You have nothing to lose!
