  Amanda did a great job with Puppy Head Start. We haven't had a new puppy for 15 years and needed up to date training methods. We've also had terriers in the past and our new puppy, a miniature Labradoodle, is very different in tempermant and attitude. We've read books but hands on was such much better. We picked up lots of good tips and she was always helpful in answering individual questions/problems. We were so impressed that we've signed up for the next class. We very highly recommend her.

  We've been to trainings with our last dog and thought we knew a lot, but Amanda really helped us see some of the habits we might have aquired that we need to change. She is great at explaining just how to work with puppies.

  Linus is a very fearful rescue. Amanda helped us both cope with the stresses of the park we live by, giving Linus (and I) the confidence to enjoy off leash play daily. She helped to form his routine play time, and I am relieved to see the progress. Thanks Amanda! You're the best.

  My dog's pretty smart to begin with, but I quickly learned obedience lessons were as much about teaching me as they were about teaching my dog. The most helpful part of Amanda's classes was her explanation of why we were learning certain things and how our dogs take in what we're telling them. She was great with the kids in the class and engaged everyone equally. Everyone in the class, two legs or four, was her favorite. I'm pretty sure Amanda could teach my dog to cook me breakfast in the morning.

  Review of Reactive Rover Dog Training Class, August 29, 2009

  I think Amanda LOVES dog training and it comes out in her personality. She is kind, friendly and approachable. She enjoys improving her dog training skills by showing her dogs and attending positive reinforcement seminars. She keeps in touch with a great group of positive dog trainers, which gives her great resources to pull from. 5 stars in my book!
