Slinky Productions began the spring of 2000 by former exotic dancer, and artist Catherine Rose.
At that time, 'lap dancing' and 'pole dancing' were unheard of terms, outside of strip club culture. Today, pole dancing is all over mainstream and indie media as the sexiest and most controversial form of fitness to date.
Ms Rose pioneered first pole dance and lap dance classes in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as introducing exotic pole dance bachelorette parties to the west coast.
