Review of Comics and Visual Storytelling, July 29, 2009
Stan Yan came into the class and worked with the students in a way that was fun and really engaging....they went from being "stick figure" artists to cartooners in no time at all! We used those skills all year for our illustrations and newspaper comics. He made it easy and professional for us....Great!

Review of Stan Yan, June 18, 2009
The teacher was an amazing drawer and the projects were fun. I was very happy with my finished comic, and so were my friends and family. Stan Yan kept the class interesting, and I didn't have to just sit around at all. I would definetly do this again. It was a very enjoyable class.

Teacher's Response:
Thanks, Margaret & Kate! My schedule allowing, I hope I'll be teaching this as a Saturday class at the Art Students League of Denver again this Fall, although, my October is going to be pretty packed, so it may or may not work out. Keep an eye on my site and on the ASLD catalog, though. It was great having both of you in class!

Review of Stan Yan, May 15, 2009
Stan is one of MACC's instructors for our "No Joke" program and constantly receives great feedback on the workshops he does. He is dependable, easy to work with and the kids love him. When we were were looking for a replacement teacher we were a bit worried because our previous instructor was so good. Our expectations have been exceeded.

Teacher's Response:
Thanks, Hunter! And, just to elaborate, I presented a 2-hour workshop for Mr. Lawrence's class, which I haven't listed here at TeachStreet as an offering yet, but I'm always available to teach custom comic and cartooning classes and workshops as well as private classes. Everything is negotiable. Thanks! Stan.
