She has taught in the Seattle and Eastside area at Gilda’s Club Seattle, Embrace the Moon in Ballard, New Traditions Academy in Bellevue, Body Works in Columbia City, Vitality Pilates, and others.

Much of the work has been teaching private lessons to special needs students who want or need to learn qigong without leaving their homes.

She completed 5 years of teacher training, tui na, and Taoist medical theory and is in the final year of training to be certified as a Qigong Master. Susan has been studying qigong since 1999 and teaching since 2003, certified to teach by Master Liu He and Dr. Liu Dong of Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.

Review of Susan Snyder, March 02, 2009

I really appreciated that Susan interspersed theory with movement. She could show us the routines and provide verbal context. She was very responsive to the different capabilities of the people in the room. The 90 minutes always flew by and I left feeling centered and relaxed.

  • "quieting mind and body class"

Review of Susan Snyder, March 01, 2009

Qi Gong led by Susan was a nice mind-body class for getting in touch with your body and mind through gentle repetetive stretching-like movements and controlled breathing. Not dissimiliar to yoga and Tai Chi, it has movements for strength and balance as well. Susan has a quieting and gentle instruction style that allows for self-reflection while completing the movements. I always felt better after attending this class.
