Erin took me through a great painting project with just the right amount of guidance, encouragement and instruction.
When I decided to give my daughter a painting as a (UC Davis) graduation gift I had never painted a realistic painting before. And whatever else I had done was unfinished and without any formal instruction.
With Erin's grounded, relaxed and friendly guidance I overcame my fears and each session became a new discovery into myself, my abilities and how much I could actually learn by doing! And on top of it all.. it was fun!
It was really like having a very human angel by my side who knew so much about painting but told me just enough ... She was there completely but seemed to melt into the background when I got going and focused. I never felt stupid for knowing nothing and never asked a question she could not answer. Amazing!!!
The end project made my daughter cry - with happiness - and me... proud and happy! I am about to go back for the gift for my second daughter!! I can't wait!
