Private Events: Rates start at $150.
Rates for classes offered through a school or other establishment are set by that establishment, & are announced independently for each separate class/event.
Individual classes at The Local Vine are are $55/class (unless otherwise noted). Select five classes of your choice for $250.
Tanya Darling is an experienced wine educator, who has taught hundreds of classes over the years; her love of classical wines, her passion for life, nature, and gastronomy inspire her work & teaching. Tanya was first exposed to fine food and wine during her studies in France & multi-cultural NYC as a young woman; where she became fascinated by the interplay between wine, food, history, and cultural identity. A stallwart traveller, Tanya has visited many of the great wine regions of Western and Eastern Europe as well as the those of the United States; she was formally educated in the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma program & at the Cervantes Institute in NYC. Tanya is also a local food enthusiast, an avid gardener, and owns a small Apple computer repair & resale business with her husband.

Experience
- 10 years experience in retail wine trade, 7 years retail sales & wine buying experience at Whole Foods Market, 7 years teaching about wine in the Salud Cooking & Lifestyles School at Whole Foods Market, 8 years freelance teaching, 10 years service experience in NYC's fine dining restaurants
