Review of Tanya Darling, September 14, 2009
Tanya is such an amazing instructor! I can't give her enough stars for a class packed with engaging information and fun! I have taken several of her classes and came away feeling like a wine expert for her enthusiasm is catching. One class was about the wines of Chianti, Tuscany and Umbria, just one of the areas that Tanya knows so much about. It is astounding how much she knows about all the wine regions of France, Italy, Spain and all the regions of American wine making. I don't know how she does it. No wonder she has such a following of wine enthusiasts who keep coming back for more. Recommended highly as a wonderful, engaging communicator!

Tanya presented an excellent 2 hour event for a bachelorette party that I hosted recently. She was full of interesting information about wine in general and very informed about the wines that she brought for us to taste. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to host an event from beginners to the more advanced.

Review of Tanya Darling, September 27, 2008
Tanya is articulate, passionate and energetic. Class after class Tanya has impressed me with her precise and refined knowledge of wine. She makes it wonderfully easy to learn how to taste wine, understand history, and learn about the wine making processes. Tanya has lived in and traveled around Europe several times and therefore has a sound understanding of the provenance of European wines. Her wine selections are always elegant. Her sense of taste: impeccable. She is by far one of the best teachers I have encountered in the trade.

Review of Tasting for Terroir (4 part wine tasting) Series, August 01, 2008
Tanya is an excellent instructor, her classes are unique, well planned and delicious. She is a well traveled, experienced and a very perceptive, knowledgable wine person. She offers foods that historically correspond or mirror those that typically accompany the wines being tasted. She has vast knowledge of the growing conditions necessary to make of each vintage, the craft of the wine makers and the particular grapes that make up each wine. She has a wealth of knowledge and delivers it with due excitement and great ease, producing a very informative yet comfortable class for your enjoyment.
