Tara Beyhm is an award-winning filmmaker, who lives in San Francisco. In the fall of 2006, Tara completed the 10-minute animated short, The Dollhouse. The Dollhouse screened in festivals around the world. The film won "Best Animated Short" in the Reel Women's International Film Festival and an "honorable mention" in a Beijing film festival.

Tara mostly teaches stop-motion animation, which includes paper cut out, puppet and clay animation. For her own work she also uses Flash and other 2D animation softwares.

Tara has experience teaching adults and youth. In the summer of '08 she traveled to Alaska to teach a month long Animation program at a fine arts camp in Sitka.
