I am a professional drummer-percussionist-music educator. I have taught and performed for many people in the past 35 years. I am currently teaching at West Music Moline Il. and Black Hawk College, Moline Il. I facilitate the monthly community drum circle at the River Music Experience,Davenport Ia. I taught the Metro Arts percussion program in 2007 and 2008 in Rock I sland Il. I have conducted numerous drum-percussion master classes,youth drum clinics and carrier days at elementary-middle-high schools and colleges in the Quad Cities region. I lead my own jazz group, The Terry Hanson Ensemble,(T.H.E) and also performs with The Ellis Kell Band, as well as many other well-known local and regional acts. I have done numerous recordings in the studio for many different artists. I am an artist endorsee for Spaun drums, Bosphorus cymbals, Aquarian drum heads and is also a member of the Vic Firth education team.
