Tesia has been a working artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. In 2000 she was hired by Golden Artist Colors, as the Golden Working Artist in San Francisco and in that capacity she lectures and teaches throughout the Bay Area. She received her BFA from the Academy of Art in 1984, studied lithography at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1990 and received her Masters of Art in 1992 at John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California. Tesia has taught at the Mendocino Art Center, Palo Alto Art Center, San Francisco City College, Santa Fe NM Community College, the Randall Museum in San Francisco, Walnut Creek Civic Arts, her own studio and other facilities. "I am passionate about painting and teaching. I love opening up new doors for inquisitive minds and helping more experienced artists recharge when they hit a wall.
