Julie Forbes graduated from the University of Vermont in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She has worked as a veterinary technician at Heritage Hill Vet Clinic in Medfield, Massachusetts and has also worked at All the Best Pet Care here in Seattle, where she became interested in animal nutrition and the value of natural foods. Julie worked as a trainer with the Academy of Canine Behavior in Bothell, WA for three years teaching classes, training dogs and assessing behavioral problems. She now has her own business where she visits people and their animals in their home for behavioral evaluations and obedience training, teaches classes and runs a board and train program at The Barking Lounge.
