The Good Racquet

My name is G.R Chapotte and Tennis is one of my passions. I am currently a member of a USTA team in DC and North Virginia.

Frustrated by the lack of service at a reasonable cost, in DC and the surrounding areas, I created The Good Racquet just before the 2009 season started.

I have gone from stringing only a couple rackets a week to several in a day. I have been stringing rackets previously for years in clubs in France and some of the guys I work with are USRSA (US Racquet Stringers Association) certified.

We also started to give lessons and are now building a network of players for the constitution of groups, teams...for your interest of meeting new people and partners. I work with USPTA or USPTR member who have been doing this for years in California, Arizona, Texas and now DC

A high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in DC and its surrounding areas.

Stringing Location:
We are located in the U street corridor, less than 15 minutes walk from Dupont Circle and about half a mile from Adams Morgan. We can also make arrangements for pick up.

Lessons Locations:
Courts in DC and its surrounding area. We try to get to your best location.
