Kumon Math and Reading Centers develop the untapped potential of each and every child through building confidence and developing skills in the fundamental building blocks of math and reading. The ultimate goal for students is advanced study. Our program goes from pre-literacy through Shakespeare and counting dots to Calculus.

At Kumon, we believe that every child has the potential to learn far beyond our expectations. We aim to cultivate better learners who are goal oriented, disciplined, confident, and independent. It is the job of our Kumon Center to encourage each individual child to want to learn, to enjoy learning, and to be capable of studying successfully in the future.

Ms. Dominique is trained and Kumon certified through a comprehensive system which ensures that she offers the best in Kumon instruction to each student. Before coming to Kumon a year ago, she had earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education degree from NYU and Harvard, respectively. She worked in schools as a student teacher and researcher with a particular focus on students with special needs.

At Kumon, learning is a student driven activity and the lesson-planning is individualized for each student. Our study materials span from pre-school through college level.

What is so great about Kumon is that it works for all types of students. Quick learners will excel beyond their school's curriculum at their own comfortable pace. Slower learners particularly benefit from the daily practice and repetition of concepts at their own pace. By practicing everyday, and learning in small, manageable steps, the student is able to build strong study habits and confidence. Our students strive not only for excellence in higher level math and reading but also to ultimately become independent learners.
