The Young and The Restless

"Mr. Jim" The Toddler Icon

Bellevue, WA

Program title:

"The Young and The Restless: Early Literacy Experiences and Activities for One-Year-Olds"

Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to work with young toddlers (ages 12 months to 24 months) in a "story time" setting.

As a result of these programs, I have developed various technqiues which allow me to captivate and communicate with the one-year-old children, from songs to concepts to sign languag to yoga and exercise, to only mention a few of the activities available during a 30-minute session.

Visit my wiki at http://toddlericon.pbwiki.com which contains the essentials of my curriculum along with a listening of "handouts" on the SideBar for downloading and printing free of charge. (Simply double click on the idea you desire to view, and wait for it to load/display.)

I welcome your input/reactions. Please contact me via emai address: earlyliteracyworkshops@live.com
