I am a professional independent reading tutor, and I offer
one-on-one sessions designed to correct problems
in dyslexia or low reading comprehension.
I also help non-dyslexic students improve reading/spelling.

A dyslexia problem is obvious to teachers and parents, but a
low comprehension problem often goes unrecognized - the student is often thought to be merely lazy.
A student with low reading comprehension may
have no problem at all reading/decoding words, but
nothing much seems to “stick”. The student is only
able to remember a few disconnected parts and therefore
has difficulty giving a summary of what has been read.

Sessions can be at your home or a nearby public library.
