About Me

I have performed on acoustic and electric bass professionally for over fifteen years throughout the United States and Europe. Over time I have played many styles including Jazz, Classical, Rock, Afro-Cuban, Soukous, Soul and Funk. My experience can serve the student well by offering a rounded approach to the fundamentals of music. Depending upon the level of the student, I introduce ear training, technique (ranging from thumb, tapping and three finger right hand technique to basic left hand consistency), rhythm, time, sight reading and other essentials designed to prepare the student for any opportunity. I also teach guitar to an advanced level. Currently I am performing with Tom Waits guitarist Omar Torrez and recently returned from my third tour of Europe. I truly love to teach and hope to have you as a student!
