After receiving my BA degree in languages, studying martial arts, dabbling a little in TCM, and living in mainland China, I moved to Washington and worked for Microsoft for about 8 years. I decided it was time to continue pursuit of my interests in natural healing.

Taking a hiatus from corporate life, I studied herbal science at Bastyr University, and the School of Natural Healing and received certification as a nutritional herbalist.

I graduated from Brenneke school of Massage, received my license and opened up shop. I then studied to become certified in Deep Tissue Myoskeletal Alignment at the Freedom From Pain Institute.

In 2004, tragedy struck. As I was crossing the street unseen by the driver, I was struck and knocked through the air. I don't remember much concerning the accident due some brain trauma but I survived when the facts said I shouldn't have!

Pain! That was the difficult part. It was pain and recovery no one should have to endure. However, I refused the gloom and doom diagnosis. Yes, I know pain, like nobody's business! But it made me stronger and more passionate about natural healing because that's how I did it! Massage therapy, herbal nutrition, some chiropractic work, faith and support of some awesome family and friends.

I'm a massage therapist who can relate to your pain. Three years later I'm still focused on my goal of helping others mitigate the pain using massage. The real life experience I gained on massage techniques, herbs, nutrition have been very advantageous for my clients .

I've appeared on Seattle local TV and radio shows, discussing massage, herbal nutrition and remedies. Plus my work has been published nationally. I enjoy teaching people means for caring for themselves while saving money in the process. I have to warn you, I love to smile and love life. So expect a fun and informational class.
