Thank you for looking at my page here on teachstreet.com. My name is Tony Sodano and I am looking to expand my private studio.

I have been teaching privately for the past 14 years to all ages, multiple genres and all different levels of skills. I teach guitar, bass and multiple types of percussion. I live in West Seattle (Alki) and am the band teacher at Garfield High School. I am looking for students in the Seattle area.

Bio:
Tony Sodano received his Master’s degree in Music Education from Washington State University as a multi-instrumentalist focusing on percussion, guitar and electric bass. During his studies, he composed for and instructed the Washington State University Marching Band Drumline and stayed active in many ensembles at the University. He has coached music at Pullman, Squalicom, Hudson’s Bay, Columbia River, and Chimacum High Schools along with several middle schools around the state. After receiving his Master’s, Tony spent two years working with Celebrity Cruises playing bass in their showband around the world. He performed with numerous international acts such as Hollywood pianist Pearl Kauffman, violinist Nicola Loud, xylophone virtuoso Ian Finkel, and pianist Naki Ataman, the Turkish goodwill ambassador of music. Back on land, Tony is currently the band director at Garfield High School running the marching and concert bands along with drumline and guitar courses.
