Valerie Vavrik is an experienced graphic designer with over 15 years experience, operating V V Graphics, LLC since 1992. She has also been a Sunday School teacher for elementary school age children for over 20 years. She enjoys people of all ages.

An antique book collector with a large collection of art and poetry books, Val began restoring the old drawings, photos and images on her computer (removing stains, yellow cast, rips, tears, pen and pencil marks, etc.), selling the restored images on CDs through VV's Victorian Prints. Valerie strives to maintain the integrity of the artwork, leaving things reflecting the style and charm of the era (ie: colors extending over the line, texturing, etc.). Since much of the art from the 1800s is black & white, sometimes Valerie adds a little touch of color for fun. Her line of 30 image CDs includes over 800 restored images.

Valerie enjoys teaching people how to print on fabric (with inkjet compatible fabric sheets), restore their own photos, and create fine art with silk. She teaches students at quilt shows and at local colleges in the Seattle area.
