Drumming is my full time passion! I'm proud member of the 6 piece middle eastern band called HOUSE OF TARAB (H.O.T.) www.houseoftarab.com. We play classic Egyptian music from the Golden Age of belly dance era, 40's-80's. We are in the process of releasing our second CD entitled "Beledi". We've played Town Hall, Folk Life, Sustainable Solstice, Delilah's annual Belly Dance Retreat in Hawaii, world fusion events, weddings, Middle Eastern Theme parties, Belly Dance shows and concerts. I've been a musician all my life; bass, percussion, other strings. One day I all of a sudden became inspired by middle eastern music and now I've been studying extensively for over the past 7 years with as many of the great drummers I can. I play classic arabic style. All students need to know drumming takes practice and it's very important to develop correct habits if you want to keep developing and playing more intricate rhythms with energy and expression.

DRUMMERS, Playing good drum solos for dancers is an art in it's self and a subject I also teach.
DANCERS, I do group and private classes for dancers wanting to learn to dance with a drummer.
Workshops are periodically offered, but private students are a good way to go if you have a crazy schedule.
