Wayne Slater (Bachelor of Music, Piano/Master of Music, Organ) has taught piano, organ, music theory and composition for over 30 years. He was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship for post-graduate studies at the Conservatory of Music in Cologne, Germany, and has performed numerous recitals throughout the U.S. and Europe. He became a certified instructor in the Yamaha Music Education System in 1988, and served as a field representative and teacher trainer for the Yamaha Corporation's Music Education Division for two years. He currently serves as organist for the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, Washington, and is active as a recitalist and accompanist.
