I have been teaching art courses( Oil and Acrylic Painting, Illustration, mixed-media) to adults and children for ten years. As an artist I have shown my paintings in galleries and studios nation wide since 1995.

Born in the remote wilderness of the Alaskan Frontier I spent much of my childhood secluded from outside influence on my parents homestead. The remainder of my childhood was spent traveling the United States with a community of nomadic artists. These unique perspectives and experiences have shaped the way I express my art and have encouraged my teaching.

Teaching has become an integral part of my path as an artist and I am absolutely inspired to provide fresh inspiring curriculum and technical guidance.  I encourage my students to love the process as much as the outcome, and to express their artistic visions fearlessly.

 I designed the course "INTUITIVE PAINTING" to offer art students and professional alike a chance to develop their personal technique and eye for color and light, while balancing the meditative and technical qualities of art. I believe that it is important to understand the more technical skills of art in order to then have the tools to fully communicate your creative visions.
