Review of Intro Series Beginner Yoga classes, January 11, 2009

Lisa and the other instructors are incredible! In my first class I learn that yoga is more than stretching. I learned it is okay that I am not a human pretzel. It is about starting where I am and doing the best I can to find balance, flexibilty, and strength. What surprised me was that long after the class, I still thought about the ideas that were presented--finding space, and moving the stillness I found to places off the mat. Truly, it is too good to miss!

Review of Yoga for New Moms, January 11, 2009

Lisa is an amazing instructor and an amazing person. For I'm one of those people that thought Yoga was just some weird "Oohy-Oohy" thing. Now I'm a believer. I love my Yoga classes with Lisa and even my 18 yr old son is practicing at Yoga at Studio Be. This is a great way to connect both physically and mentally with a person's own body and spirit. I'm hoping to get my other two teenage children hooked on Yoga in 2009 and maybe my husband too. Lisa has been a great help and influence.

The Gentle Yoga classes are great for anyone, especially those who has physical limitations. These classes are great physical excercise for all ages, body types and physical strengths. The Gentle Yoga classes are also wonderful stress reducers, in the tough times we are facing. What a better gift to give yourself to start off a positvie 2009.

I have known Lisa for several years. During this time I have taken her classes and we have taught workshops together on back pain and detoxification.

Her knowledge, experience and passion for yoga are just some of the qualities that make her an exceptional teacher.

As a naturopatic physician, chiropractor and acupuncturist, I feel confident that any patients I refer to her classes will be well taken care of.

Studio B has classes for all levels. I highly recommend it.

Review of Yoga at Studio Be, January 10, 2009

I came to yoga rather late in life. My middle-aged body – o-o-kay, senior body – required some extra care to avoid injury. Lisa and all of her instructors are very tolerant and patient with students who don’t have the pretzel-bending gene. Health and safety are paramount at Studio Be. I’ve visited other studios over the past ten years, but this is the one where I feel most at home. Whatever your level of training and ability, you’ll like this place; come join us.

Review of Gentle Therapeutic Yoga, January 10, 2009

This gentle yoga class is a great way to start your day. I always leave feeling relaxed, focused and ready for the days challenges. My low back can be painful at times, but after attending this class my back is so much better and I have learned how yoga can help me feel my best. See you at class!
