His knowledge of advanced Yoga includes HRE ( Health Rejuvenating Exercises), Yogasana, Preksha Meditation, Relaxation, Pranayama and positive thinking .

Teaching Style - Preksha Yoga

Yogi Mahendra brings the ancient Preksha system of Meditation and Yoga to the West. Preksha Yoga is a powerful scientific technique that helps individuals discover hidden powers of the inner self. This method helps people enhance their overall sense of well-being and recover from chronic illnesses. It helps free the mind from negative emotions, desires and thought patterns. Preksha Yoga restores health and wellbeing at the deepest cellular and emotional level.

In India, Preksha is a proven system of combating stress and diseases like blood pressure, heart ailments, diabetes, mental disorders, cancer and a host of psychosomatic disorders. The word Preksha literally means "perception" and it involves perception of breath, of outer gross body, of internal subtler body composed of vibrations, sensations and other physiological events.

"Seeing is not an external vision but perceiving the subtle internal and innate phenomena of consciousness. This way, through the regular practice of Preksha we can control the root cause of disease and emotional pain by perceiving carefully and profoundly. Yogi Mahendra also provides regular training and classes at the India Community Center (ICC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to social, wellness and cultural causes.
