If you are in the Seattle area and would like to take ukulele lessons please don't hesitate to contact me. I love to teach beginners of all ages and will also design lessons for more experienced players who are interested in learning performance technique and "jazz" chords.

Review of Ukulele Lessons, June 29, 2009
Miss Rose is a rare and exceptional teacher. She is an accomplished vocalist and ukulele player who has an easy and fun way of teaching kids. My daughter, who is shy, is actually singing along with Miss Rose during her lessons and practicing and looking forward to their weekly time together. I love hearing the lessons--lots of laughing and singing, but also great music theory/technique advice. My daughter has progressed to the point where she plays in front of people with a solid repertoire. Miss Rose is a delight! I highly recommend her!

Review of Miss Rose, September 05, 2009
I knew the basic chords on the uke from living in Hawaii. What Miss Rose taught me is to play around with chords that have their home further up the neck. It makes playing way more fun to have more chords to chose from and Sunga breaks it down so its not so hard. And she sneaks in enough music theory to have it make sense and not so much theory that your eyes start to roll back into your head. Yeah.
