I provide high quality private instruction on the violin. All styles of music (classical, jazz, fiddle, etc), all ages and abilities. I use the Suzuki method combined with other approaches as appropriate to the student's level and goals.

My 7 year old has been taking violin lessons from Teo for 2 years now and she has always looked forward to her lessons. Teo is patient and has a good sense of humor. He can tailor his teaching style to his student's learning style. Teo is also an incredible violin player himself. My daughter also looks forward to the group performances w/ the rest of Teo's students several times per year. I highly recommend him!

My oldest child started with Teo in the first grade after a bad experience with another teacher. That was five years ago. We have two children working with Teo now.The first thing I found out is that he is much better than others at working with young children.
Teo is very easy-going and his lessons move smoothly as he focuses from one area to improve to another.
One of the great things about studying with him is not only does organize recitals for his students he organizes master classes periodically so his private get a chance to work with others.
Teo is a brilliant performer and plays for the Tacoma Symphony and I think you want your teacher to be a brilliant performer as well as just a teacher.
