I am $55.00/hr; my students attend full hour weekly classes. I require a full hour of practice a day (for younger kids we work up to a full hour.) The more involved the parents are the better the children do. I usually tell parents that a child who needs help doing their school homework will need some help doing their music homework. Please don't worry if you don't play an instrument; I can show you how to help. If the fundamentals are taught properly, practicing is fun.

I have known Carolyn for more than twenty years. She is a supremely gifted teacher, a superb violinist, caring and ethical, who always puts her students first. I trust her with my own children; you can find no one better for your own.

My daughter has been attending Carolyn's classes for over two years now. Carolyn has taken her from absolute beginner to a most accomplished classicist. She's even got the practise up to an hour a day. Well done!
