Violin Lessons

I come from a background of classical training on violin and viola, but I also like to teach my students using a variety of musical styles including fiddle music and jazz. I have the experience of teaching orchestra in the schools at all levels, from elementary to high school students. I enjoy working with students from about 7-8 years old up through adults. I am a compassionate and understanding teacher with a heart for people and a talent for making students find the music within. I teach lessons in half hour time slots for younger students and beginners and hour lessons for the more advanced musicians.

(Payment will take the form of monthly tuition, which is due at the first lesson of every month.)

For weekly 1 hour private lessons, tuition is $160 per month (equivalent to $40 per lesson.) For weekly half hour lessons, tuition is $100 per month (equivalent to $25 per lesson.)
This tuition applies for the beginning of September through the end of June.
July and August private lessons will be paid per lesson at the rate of $40 per hour/ $25 per half hour lesson.

VACATIONS
I will be taking a vacation the last two weeks of December and a one week vacation during Spring Break in April. Figuring in these three weeks of vacation, the number of lessons works out to be a minimum of 40 for weekly students over the ten month period.

MISSED LESSONS

There are no refunds for missed lessons. You may reschedule your lesson by swapping with another student or making prior arrangements for an alternate time.

If you cannot make a lesson due to illness, I will try to reschedule a make-up lesson within a month of the missed lesson, but I cannot guarantee the make-up depending on my schedule.

If I have to cancel a lesson that I am not able to reschedule, you will pay tuition for the following month minus the $40/$25 per lesson rate.
