One of the hardest challenges that I tackle, as a media coach, is convincing men that, yes, they really do need some make-up, if they plan to appear on TV!

I know, it's hard for guys to cruise into the MAC (make-up, not computer!) store and ask for the latest tips in blush application... but some basic skin prep is needed to look your best in this visual and (with the on-set of HD) somewhat unforgiving medium.

Men, trust me, prepping your skin with oil-blotting paper, some lip balm, a brow tweeze and a bit of Studio Fix powder will make your message stand out.  Viewers won't be distracted by anything else, and will be able to focus on what you're saying, which is why you're on TV in the first place, right?
