Introduction to Inlay

Learn how to use shell (mother of pearl, abalone, etc.) and other materials for inlays in musical instruments. We'll cover pattern making, cutting shell, using small routers to make the inlay cavity, gluing the inlay in place and leveling. At the end of the day, you'll take home a guitar headstock inlay ready for your next homemade instrument!
